So, it turns out that my promise to start doing regular blogs was a complete and utter lie! August through to April is longer than I care to admit and so much has happened during this time that I am currently angry with myself for not sharing all the wonderful things that I have been up to and achieved.
Surely the most important thing has to be the FIRST BIRTHDAY of Bridge & Stitch back in January! I truly cannot believe how quickly the time has gone!
Now coming up to almost 18months I have completed and continue to work on more projects than the length of my arm. Some of these include:
Men’s casualwear for Dunce & Dreamer
Shooting jackets with Syskin
Reflective Hats with Nattier Blue
Shirts with George Edwards
Babywear for Read My Rhyme
Childrenswear for Floebo and Coco Blu
Vests for M.I.V
Digital printed garments for Consume
Equestrian wear with Zoeh Equestrian
19th Century replica rugby kit for Rugby School
Jersey collection for Bohemia Stripe
High-end fashion with Catriona MacAllister
Streetwear with Bantum Clothing
Maternity sportswear for a company called Proud Maternity
… to name but a few.
Once I get permission off a few of the above companies I will get some photo’s up of the collections and work completed.
Bridge & Stitch’s services have been in high demand and for the last few months I have been looking at taking on an intern to help with the workload. I feel that it would not only benefit myself but it would also be a great opportunity for someone to come on board, be thrown in at the deep end and learn all aspects of the manufacturing process.
