We do get some unusual projects here at Bridge & Stitch. An example of this that came out of the blue was for a special baby grow for the International Association of Infant Massage.
This project involved the design and manufacture (entirely in the UK of course!) of a special garment for use in training situations. The garment is fitted onto the training doll and carries markings that show where pressure should be applied and the direction of movement. These garments are used to train baby massage practitioners all over the world.
A peculiarity of this design was the careful location of seams in keeping with the correct movement of the massaging hands.
When correctly applied, baby massage has many benefits, including increased levels of relaxation and longer sleep, as well as relief from wind, colic, constipation and teething discomfort. More information about baby massage here. If you have an item of apparel that you would like to manufacture in the UK contact Bridge & Stitch to discuss your project.
