Our tech packs and workbooks are produced to industry standards. They include design sheets, measurement sheets, grading rules, quality inspection workbooks, artwork sheets, colourways and more.

We have a large database of fabric, trim and packaging suppliers. We will source suitable materials that work within your budget and quantities. Consideration to eco-friendly options will be featured as standard.

We have a large database of British and international factories. Depending on your requirements and consideration to the environment, we can assist you in picking the factory most suitable for your collection.

We can source all your embellishment needs incuding embroidery, sublimation printing, screen printing, roller printing and heat transfers.

Once all the sourcing is complete, we will have approximate pricing for each of your styles – production costs, margins and retail targets. Costings can be reviewed to ensure the garment is viable, before proceeding with sampling.

Once all elements of your garment are sourced, we can action pattern cutting of the master size. This is usually the middle size within your size range. Pattern cutting can be manual or digital, depending on the capabilities of your chosen factory.

Sampling is a chance to check the quality of the factory, the fit of the garment and the suitability of all your fabrics and trims. You usually need, on average, two rounds of sampling, before sample size sets.

Samples are fitted with required amendments communicated to the pattern cutter. Garments are measured, tested for shrinkage and any manufacturing issues are raised with the factory.

When the garment is approved for sample size sets, all fabric, trims and embellishments are ordered. Size sets are produced in production fabric and trims so that these can be checked and tested before production takes place.

Once the master pattern is approved for fit, it will be graded to all the sizes in your range, ready for sample size sets.

Sample size sets are an opportunity to check your garment in all available sizes. They will be produced to the standard of production, allowing you a final sign-off before production begins. These samples can be used for sales and marketing.

After sample size sets are approved, your garment is now ready for production. Once completed, the factory will package the garments as requested and deliver to our office for a final quality check.

Upon receiving the goods, Bridge & Stitch will quality check between 5-10% of your stock. Once approved we will deliver the garments to you, so that you can organise distribution to your customers.
