We’re an environmentally conscious company doing our best to make responsible choices that consider the planet before profit. This means we are trying to ensure that all factories are ethical, sourcing sustainable clothing manufacturers and fabric suppliers. We have selected no.12 Responsible Consumption and Production and no.15 Life on Land from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as our main focus. A partnership with One Tree Planted and donating 1% of our profits helps to offset our carbon footprint. Bridge & Stitch have an integrated sustainability strategy within the business to ensure that all decisions consider the planet, people and profit equally.

We are committed to improving clothing brands through educating our customers on sustainability. Where possible we offer environmentally friendly alternatives, ethical suppliers and sustainable clothing manufacturers. We encourage our clients to consider end-of-life, once the products are no longer needed and work with factories to improve their environmental actions. This includes collecting fabric waste to be reused within the fabric process. We have partnered with Avena, and always encourage our clients to do the same.

We understand that the pressures to reduce your environmental impact are increasing. And sometimes the topic can be confusing, with clients often expressing a lack of understanding of where they can start and what they should do. We offer bespoke sustainable road maps or internal consultancy for clothing brands looking to make positive changes to their business processes. We have consultants trained in carbon literacy and sustainable leadership who can create action plans that are easy to understand and implement. They are affordable and achievable, suitable for businesses who are short of time, resources and money, but keen to make green choices.

 

Working towards Bronze!

We are working towards our Bronze accreditation from the iiE – Investors in the Environment. The iiE is helping to further reduce our impact on the planet. We have pledged to reduce our electricity, gas and water consumption along with reducing waste to landfill.
